Geneseo
Look for the Richardson Romanesque Geneseo Township Library with its hipped roof, crossed gables and arched entry, and for the A.J. Meade Drugstore, which is the lone survivor of a formerly bustling old-time business center. Its simple style (business in the front, living quarters in the back) was once quite common to the area. See, also, examples of Greek Revival, Italianate, Queen Anne Victorian, Second Empire and many others types of past architecture.
